Japan Construction Site & Building Picture Book

About this book

Watch a house being built — in Japanese! From the empty lot and the site fence to the excavators and the crane, the day the concrete is poured, pillars and beams rising, brick walls, the roof going over our heads, windows, doors and stairs, water, lights and paint inside, safety first at every step (helmets on, and we always watch from outside the fence with a grown-up!), and at last the key of the finished home: 500 words, each with a picture, kana, romaji and English, in 10 chapters of 50. Includes two safe play-along games: the Builder Game (copy a picture with cushions and blocks, on the floor) and the Safety Spot Game (hunt the pictures for helmets, vests, cones and signs). Scan the QR code for free online audio of all 500 words — Japanese and English.
